Thomas Rosaschi, Esq. Becomes SRMC’s 41st President
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – OCTOBER 29, 2024 – As the Society of Risk Management Consultants (SRMC or Society) ends its 40th year since its formation in 1994, during the Society’s annual meeting held on October 25, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. Thomas Rosaschi was installed as the 41st President of the Society.
Mr. Rosaschi is a Senior Consultant at ICA, a licensed attorney in the State of Florida, and an advisor to clients in the private equity, hedge fund, and real estate industries, among others. Since joining ICA in 2015, Tom has advised U.S. and international Clients, their principals and financial advisors on risk management and insurance-program restructuring in connection with mergers, spin outs, acquisitions, divestitures and other material transactions. Beyond his transactional practice, Tom assists many clients in the non-profit sector including large cultural institutions and charitable organizations with a global presence.
SRMC also elected Mr. Benjamin C. Few, IV, President at Ben Few & Company in Fort Myers, FL as President-Elect (after serving two years as the Society’s Treasurer); and Mr. Paul Carlan, Consultant at Durrett and David Risk Management in Marietta, GA as Treasurer.
Ms. Lori Ussery of Insurance Buyers’ Council, Inc., in Cockeysville, MA will continue to serve on the board in the role of Immediate Past President; and Mr. George Erickson, Executive Vice President at Siver Insurance Consultants in St. Petersburg, FL will continue to serve his second year as Secretary.
The Society of Risk Management Consultants is governed by a board of directors, with each director being elected to a two-year term. SRMC elected four members to the Board of Directors this year are Ms. Patricia (“Patty”) Furterer, MBA,Vice President at CORE Risk Services, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH; Mr. Kevin Kelly, JD, MA, ARM, J.D., MA, Senior Consultant of Insurance Buyers Council, Inc. in Cockeysville, MA; Ms. Cynthia Robinson, Director of Fortress Risk Consultants, LLC in Cumming, GA; and Mr. William (“Will”) Scobie, MA MBA MBCI CMgr MCMI,Managing Director of Horizonscan Ltd in Broadstairs, Kent, United Kingdom. The membership also appointed Mr. Peter Murdough ARM, AUof Blades, Crout & Proulx, LLC, in Leadville, CO to fill a vacancy for one year.
Other members continuing to serve on the Board of Directors will be Mr. Robert Lynch, CRMP, RF, SCLA(S), ARM, Principal of North Shore Risk Consulting, LLC in Melville, NY; Mr. Esequiel Nathal, ARM, Vice President of Compass Risk Services, LLC in Frisco, TX; and Ms. Rachael Scheckman, CLCS, AAI, Senior Consultant at ICA Risk Management Consultants in Mahwah, NJ.
The Society recognized Mr. Peter Murdough, ARM, AUof Blades, Crout & Proulx, LLC, in Leadville, CO for his service as the Immediate Past President for the past year, along with the service of directors whose terms expired this year: Ms. Jaclyn Davis, Consultant at Insurance Buyers Council, Inc. in Cockeysville, MA; Mr. Mark Di Nola, ARM, President at Rye Risk Consulting, LLC in Manchester, HH; Mr. Christopher Moss, CPCU, ARM, AIC, President at Compass Risk Services, LLC in Frisco, TX; and Mr. David Stegall, CPCU, ARM, ARe, RPA, Principal Consultant at Risk Consulting & Expert Services, Birmingham, AL.
During the annual meeting, a lifetime membership was awarded to Mr. W. Hank Bahr, CPCU, ARM, CRM, CIC, at HB Associates, Inc. in Knoxville, TN, a long-standing member who has had a direct impact on the success of the SRMC over the past years.

Lori Ussery Elected SRMC’s 40th President
LORI USSERY ELECTED SRMC’S 40TH PRESIDENT; NEW BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED
OCTOBER 29, 2023 –As the Society of Risk Management Consultants(SRMC or Society) begins its 40th year since its formation in 1994, during the Society’s annual meeting held on October 27, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV, Mrs. Lori Ussery, was elected the 40th President of the Society.
Mrs. Ussery is an Actuarial Consultant with SIGMA Actuarial Consulting Group, headquartered in Brentwood, TN. Lori has over 20 years of experience in the actuarial profession and has been a consultant with SIGMA since 2006. She prepares actuarial reserve analyses and loss projections for clients across a wide range of industries. She is experienced in statistically modeling the effect of varying levels of risk retention at various confidence levels. She provides expertise to captive insurance companies, preparing loss forecasts and pro-forma financial statements, reserve analyses, and actuarial reviews of captive insurance companies for multiple domiciles. She manages projects, completes peer reviews, and provides actuarial support to SIGMA’s RISK66 web-application. She has extensive experience analyzing data for both traditional and non-traditional property and casualty insurance coverages. Lori resides on a 55-acre farm in Dickson, TN and enjoys going on adventures like camping, hiking, kayaking, and scuba diving with her husband, son, and two daughters.

PETER J. MURDOUGH ELECTED SRMC’S 39TH PRESIDENT; NEW BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED
OCTOBER 25, 2022 – At the fall annual meeting of the Society of Risk Management Consultants (SRMC) held on October 6, 2022, in London, United Kingdom, Mr. Peter J. Murdough, ARM, AU was elected as the 39th President of the SRMC.
Mr. Murdough is a Senior Consultant at Blades, Crout & Proulx, LLC, headquartered in Leadville, CO. Pete has more than 20 years of risk and insurance experience. Starting his career as a credit risk manager, he then made the transition into insurance in 2005, and in 2012 moved into his current role with Blades, Crout & Proulx. Pete’s work focuses on contract reviews, detailed policy analysis, and negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of his clients. Pete holds the professional designations of Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU). Originally from Burlington, VT, and a graduate of the University of Vermont, Pete is an avid runner, golfer, gardener, and homebrewer, and he resides in Bucks County, PA with his wife and two sons.
